Let Others know where you stand

Baptism doesn’t make you a believer; it shows that you already believe. It doesn’t “save” you; only your faith in Christ does that. Think of baptism like a wedding ring—it’s an outward symbol of the commitment you’ve already made in your heart. It is a beautiful way to publicly declare your faith and the new life you have in Christ.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith...it is a gift of God - not by works so that no one can boast.

  • Why Be Baptized by Immersion?

    - Because Jesus was baptized this way - Matthew 3:16
    - Every baptism in the Bible was by immersion - Acts 8:38-39
    - The word baptize means to put under water, and it best symbolized a burial and resurrection - Romans 6:4

  • Should You be baptized?

    Every person who has believed in Christ shoudl make their decision public through baptism. When you are ready to bury the old life and be resurrected in Christ’s life, you are ready to be baptized.

  • Why Should I be baptized?

    - To follow the examples set by Jesus - Mark 1:9
    - To comply with Christ’s command - Mark 28:19-20
    - To demonstrate that I really am a Christian - Acts 18:8 | 1 John 2:3
